Session Date: March 22nd, 2022
Session Time: 4 pm – 5 pm (GST)
Session Details:
How many times did you collaborate on a STELLAR project in one of your classes, or curate an awe-inspiring art project, play or social awareness campaign during your high school years but was never able to show case it effectively when you are applying for an internship, scholarship or university?
The average university application’s focus on template-like brevity in student response fields to questions about their coursework and final grades disproportionately represents the student’s abilities, talents and achievements. Unfortunately, students who may have very successfully navigated challenging coursework demands and produced amazing projects during their high school journey, often have no idea how to successfully showcase their achievements as a university applicant.
The addition of an ePortfolio to a university application will not only enhance any international application it will also set any applicants apart from their peers. An ePortfolio can very effectively showcase the student’s technological savviness, entrepreneurship, innovation, and ability to present their work in a professional manner while also serving to highlight the student’s college readiness as an applicant.
Please join us as we introduce various options, techniques and design strategies on how to start building your ePortfolio.
This workshop is suitable for all grades (9 -12) students to attend.
